Arab League chief to run for President of Egypt
Amr Moussa, the secretary-general of the Arab League, said he will run for president in Egypt's upcoming presidential elections, according to Al-Arabia TV.
Moussa will quit his job at the Arab league in March and then devote himself to his campaign, which, he said, will focus on the principles of law, democracy and human rights.
Earlier, he told the leaders of the Arab world that the political turmoil they are witnessing is largely the result of decaying economic opportunities in the region
