yo Lime good to see you here. Whilst LLL sorts this out, you can post withour registering.

The software got swamped I think Smile

When I registered it sent me an email that I had to click on a link to get it working as some sort of confirmation. It had gone to my spam folder. My account was then activiated

LLL my email is getting spammed with topic reply notices, even though it is turned off in my prefs. Any ideas? is there a master switch somewhere?

No Janey, can't see it but what I do is make a new email account just for the site, so it don't interfere with your main email account.

I apologize if you've already explained but...I tried to upload an avatar from iphoto and it wasn't accepted. Likely too large but I don't know how to make it smaller. I must be the only dummy here!

Best way to do it is, save the avatar to your PC then go to profile/Avatar the browse and upload to here.

If the pic is too big you can make it smaller with the help of GIMP 2.6, a free download. If you still having trouble tell me and I ll try and help you more.

Should have said , with gimp 2,6, you just scale the pic down, that should work for you.
